Guided Tour of Dvor Castle

Dvor Castle dates back to the 12th Century, but is young at heart, as it recently opened its doors to the public and is offering some new content. Our tour will take you through a 19th Century shop, where looking at old objects will most certainly transport you back to the past. The mystical pharmacy, home of our witch Priletičnica, will reveal to you how they used to make medicines and what interesting pottery they used to cook various concoctions in. The old pharmacy will reveal to you the secrets behind its differently labeled bottles, show you the instruments once used by dentists and so much more. In the printing house of Master Janez, you will experience the magical world of letters and printing. And if you pay extra attention to him, he will take you to the castle wine cellar.

Includes The Countess Package as well as the following:

The Count and Countess Package

Includes The Count Package as well as the following:

Wine tasting of three types of wines and an hors d’oeuvre (dry cut meat, zaseka, olives, bread)

Group price of 15 or more persons: 16 € / person

The Count’s Wine Cellar Package

Includes the Count and Countess Package as well as the following:

The Count’s presentation of the wine gallery with emphasis on Slovene wines
A tour of the collection of prime stored wines, cognacs, other spirits and cigars

Duration: 2,5 hours
Price: 25 € / person
Group price of 15 or more persons: 20 € / person

This package is available upon prior inquiry. It is intended for special occasions for smaller groups.

Additional charges

Additional options for any given package of a tour of the Castle garden, court and tomb for 0,5 hours: additional 2 eur / person
Rent of regal attire for photoshoot at Dvor Castle for 60 minutes: 15 € / attire

Special Days on Dvor Castle

The Dvor Castle decor is changed five times per year. Castle tours are adapted to suit the events and decor theme:

Spring-Easter decoration of the Castle
Local holiday Štoflcfest in June
Halloween
Christmas decorating and Nativity scene setup on the Castle court in December
